The electronic device to learn selected Surahs of the Koran was seen in a Berlin Neukölln shop window. This kind of simplified computers that teach parts of the Koran or how to pray have been quite common in many Muslim cultures and societies for the last decade or so. This is the first time I see a model with face-less depictions of children. The avoidance of human faces fits with the cartoon style, that is a way to avoid a three-dimensional representation of living beings. The two features of the packaging design make it rather clear that the target group is one of strict Muslims.
